4th Time is a Charm – Picked up Specs on Friday

.

I LOVE being able to see. I love my NEW glasses.
(And I love my new HAIRDO.)
Life is good.

I have been trying for way too long to get a pair of glasses that allow me to read with them on! This is my 4th pair. I finally went to Lenscrafters.

If you are looking for a place to go – check out Lenscrafters. I have actually used them for years for both my daughter and myself.

  • Great selection – usually you go home with glasses that day
  • Competitive prices – they gave me a better deal than the coupon from their site
  • Skilled customer service people – they gave good guidance on what looks best on us. When you can’t see without your glasses, how can you pick a pair for yourself that looks nice? Especially when you don’t really like to stare at yourself in a mirror?
  • Eye doctors that are good at their craft – They also gave us great advice on eyecare (like supplements: flaxseed).
  • I don’t get anything for this recommendation. Just spreading a well-earned compliment.

Lori, thanks for coming with me.

Your new glasses look nice! More importantly I hope they will really help with your studying!

Yay! How frustrating to not be able to see! So far, I don’t need reading glasses (just the far away kind), but soon I will.

Thanks for the tip on lenscrafters, and flaxseed – that stuff is good for all kinds of things!

Yes, my glasses are the tool! I can see well and even read with them on.

I do need to get some flaxseed. Wiat a minute. I’m back. I just wrote “flaxseed” on my white board.

I don’t know what else flaxseed is good for. Maybe soemthing to do with omega 3 somethings?

Thank you both for your concern and comments.

Ok – now I’ll quit my creative procrastination and get back to writing a report on a book by Henri Nouwen: In the Name of Jesus: Reflections of Christian Leadership.
