If you need a good financial advisor, I can give you the name of the person we use. He handled my late mother-in-laws finances & handles our IRA, his assistant is equally as good. He was raised here in Rancho Cordova & knows the LeFever family at church.

Also if you want to do a Living Trust as opposed to just a will & need an attorney we have a Christian attorny that handles our in the area. He drew up our papers in addition to phil mom’s & handled her estate. As a matter of fact we were just up there making some changes.

The fist thing I’m hoping to do is buy my first house. Ack!!!
Once that’s done, I’m creating a living trust and putting the house and whatever else I have that might be an asset in the trust.
And my final one is to also fund a ROTH IRA .

How is the house hunting coming along? Any potential homes yet? I hope to own a home some day.

its not coming very quickly that’s for sure. I’ms till reading my “Buying Your First Home book – which is awesome – and I’m overwhelmed byt he process. What I have done is do some research and get recommendations for Mortgage Brokers and Real Estate Agents & will interview them. Apparently their job is to go research and find me a mortgage and a house that fits my needs/desires,e tc.
(Now if only I could find someone who would research and find me a husband! LOL!)

If you want to knock off one thing on your list real fast, go to http://www.freecreditreport.com/
You have to sign up with them using a credit card. It is free for 30 days. Dont do like I did and forget to cancel your subscription. It is really fast and easy. Save your credit report on your computer since you cant look at it after the month is up.
Let me know when you do it and we can compare who’s number is higher.

don’t much about the mortgage thing, but I do know someone who does that sort of stuff if you want another name. I also don’t know much about the husband stuff given my past experience.
Elizabeth, Good advice. Maybe I can do this once my finals are complete. I’m taking a wee break from the finals writing by answering some posts. Oh, and I’ll take your chanllenge.
