Lynette - great idea about the categories. That would make it easier for me to come up with what I've learned.

Theresa - Good 3 lessons. I'll have to add them to my list as well. Isn't it something how God can teach us a lesson from the most surprising sources sometimes?

Stu - Thanks for letting us know the creator of the idea. The link didn't go through, but here is a link to Eric's work. http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/
Some good stuff there. I've added him to my google reader.

Thanks for the link on your blog!

The idea originated for me from Eric Zorn's blog 'Change of Subject' - Here's the <a href="http://blogs.chicagotribune.com/news_columnists_ezorn/2008/01/50-things-ive-l.html=" rel="nofollow"> Link</a>

Great idea. I just got done reading my friend's 33 things list about herself. I think the greatest life lesson I've learned is to follow my life verses Pr 3:5-6. And akin to this would be not crossing my bridges before I get to them or I'll have to pay the toll twice (CS Lewis) and sometimes God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers (Garth Brooks LOL).

Good post. Challenges me to come up with my own list with an example from my life that backs up each lesson learned & did I really learn it, or am I still learning it. I would imagine the list could be broken down into catergories: Me & who I am, Spirtitual matters, mothering, being a wife, friend, director & owning a dog!
Off to ponder the rampage of thoughts that your post is challenging me to.
Have a great day!
