Its been too mnay years since I've seen While You Were Sleeping, so I don't rememebr it much. I'm listeing to Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song, Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Christmas" by the Pretenders. Makes me want to start on my Christmas list tonight. I love Christmas, and I love doing "handmade Christmas" as much as possible. And back in the day it was possible for me to wait until I got that "Christmassy feeling" in October. But nowadays, that's too late. I never, ever have enough time, and end up feeling stressed and frazzled. And I end up in some mall at the 11th hour agonizing over my Christmas list. I like your list - I think I'll use it (tweaked for my life/needs) as a little guideline of things to do before crunch time. We don't do a lot for Christmas but this year I want to prepare a little more in advance for advent for the kids. That will have to wait for the fall though since we'll be gone for the next 5 or so weeks. I do usually make most of my Chrsitmas gifts so I need to begin early. I try to be done by Thanksgiving since many are mailed and I hate being out in the crowds at last minute. It's a great idea to get your address labels all ready for your cards.
