Answers

  1. I am a mouse potato. Who knew there was an official term for excessive infatuation with computer/internet useage? BTW I did try french fried sweet potatoes in June at The Hard Rock Cafe. They are tasty.
  2. The deadline for the all church cookbook has been extended to August 27th. Be sure to get your 3 or more recipes to Marsha. You can contact her at cncwomensministry@yahoo.com.
  3. Bloggers all around the world all being organized to pay tribute to the victims of 9/11. Please pray for those family and friends left behind.
  4. When the original Starter is kept in a quart-sized ziplock baggie it explodes when the room is warm. Yes, I know from personal experience. It also can explode in a gallon-sized ziplock baggie. Starter and I have not had a good week.
  5. Paper Clips is amovie about a 24 million paperclip collection. An 8th grade class in rural Tennessee started collecting 6 million paperclips as a way “to grasp the concept of 6 million Holocaust victims.” As word spread throughout the world, 24 million paperclips were sent in and COUNTED by hand. In a previous post, I wrote about how one red paperclip started the chain of trades that led to a house in Canada.
  6. Hoch Fun-Food, the German confectioner is now marketing edible memo pads. “The package contains a food coloring ink pen and Hoch’s edible wafer paper. Kids can now pass notes to each other in class, and eat the evidence before the teacher confiscates it.” This same company also produces edible easter grass.
  7. The cutest grandpa/grandchild pictures can be seen at jennyarnez.com. The two pictures are here and here. Aren’t they just precious?

How’d you score? Before this week my score was 0/7.
