Isn’t this just too cute?

FishInMyHair is a funny writer AND the creator (that would be yatsar to you Believing God Gals) of this tres chic purse.

Anyone know how to make something like this? Can I come over and sew with you?

Call me tomorrow afternoon. In the a.m. I’ll be at my niece’s home babysitting and helping her clean (wink! wink!) out her closet and chest of drawers.

This purse is ADORABLE !!! Mine would be larger due to my pattern size. haa haa. I do not sew but weild a mean stapler so if it can be stapled like the hem of a pair of pants =-). count me in. We could get together and not sew a darn thing except maybe sow what we reap !!
ENJOY the closet cleaning and dont forget to play silly dress up. Time flys when they are little.

That is the cutest one of those I’ve seen…I think we need to go to the second hand store to get the appropriate sized jeans! Or may from your nieces…mine would be luggage sized! LOL I think it would be pretty easy to figure this out. JoAnn’s carries the handles, although I think it would be neat to make those too with your own choice of beads. Have fun in the closet! :o)

Hi Susan… I love how you share. Thank you!

There are little packages at Michael’s to make cute little purses. I was planning on buying them to do with my nieces at Christmas.

If you want to have a practice go at it, I would like that.

I am excited at the answers I got back here and via email. It will be so fun to make these purses. I also appreciate the answers of help.

Faithful love I’d relish getting together to make a kit. After we do that, I might do one with my niece, K.

Duker, silly dress up is FUN. I used to sew easy costumes for mine when they were little and they’s weqr them everywhere: tiger, carebear, indians, etc. I miss those days. I am blessed to be able to particiapte in the lives of my littler nieces in this manner.

Theresa, I look forward to sewing with you too. I have some of my kiddos jeans from when they were little. Don’t you think it would be sweet to make a purse for my son’s fiance out of a pair of his little guy jeans?

You are welcome, Pass The Torch. I always enjoy your site.

Well, I’m off to school – another long day. I’ll catch up later – lots to share.

As soon as I figure out the pattern, I will let you know, Lynette.

Yes, a purse from J’s jeans would be more the size of an evening bag. 🙂
