4-6. George Bailey: Come from 6-8 p.m. to remember how fun it is to celebrate with CNC women.
7-9. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Bring 1 dozen appetizers to light the way for Christmas cheer.
10-12: Santa and Mrs. Claus: You are over the top. But come to the party at CNC anyway.

Oh dear! I scored a big fat zero! Bah humbug.
I have given some thought to taking down my Autumn decorations. I did make a Christmas list last night (it is someone between the kitchen & living room). My dad volunteered my house for Christmas day. I did read where all the tree farms are or should I put up my fake one & spritz it with evergreen air freshner?
Oooo, wait, I forgot we went to the Santa Clause parade on Saturday in downtown Sacramento,then to the Crocker Art Museum(Art & Craft Faire, then Old Sac.,anybody else do that?
And I am going to the Tree lighting tonight unless it is raining & too cold.
So, therefore I think I can give myself a few extra points…
Now for those you who have bought & wrapped your presents & probably have them under your decorated, scented tree & have baked cookies & fruitcakes. Have put up lights & made fake snow & have found the perfect Christmas White Elephant gift, have it wrapped perfectly…
I believe you are moonlighting as one of Santa’s little Elves!
Can’t wait to taste your yummies for the party & they better not be store bougten he he (jsut kidding in case you don’t know me well).

Lynette – you get lots of points in my book. What a good Mom to take Jonathan to all those wonderful events. And I know you had fun, too.
I agree with you, there better not be store-bought goodies from those of us who have cookbooks – no excuses not to have the resources to find a good recipe 🙂 See you there!

Unless the store bought goodie is Brie topped with dried cranberries/pecans/caramel sauce & served with a baugette. Yummo! I made this for my koffee klatch & it was a hit.
Then again I could make pretzels dipped in chocolate, topped with crushed peppermint candy or….
Red Hot Cinnamon Rice crispies…or
oh goodness, what to do & I only have 2 weeks to decide & find my gift & wrap it. I will refrain from putting my gift in a brown paper bag this year or did I use a baby themed bag hmmm….
BTW-the cookbooks are lovely. Can’t wait to get mine.

I’ll think about Christmas Friday after 12:00 nonn – that’s when my finals are due.
