I Promise: That 2007 Will Be Great Year for Ladies

Hi CNC Ladies,

Much is happening in 2007: M&M Saturdays, Annual Tea, Secret Sisters, Retreat. Of course, buy a cookbook!

To read the specific details download the attachment and keep it handy.

I hope your holiday preparations are going well.

  • I’ve sorted through most of the Christmas boxes. My intent is to divide all the decorations amongst my children and I.
  • My tree (a white one) is up and gorgeous. I’ve gone with a red, gold and green theme. Plus I’ve hung the ornaments my children have made throughout the years. If you are in the area, I’d love for you to come visit. Maybe I’ll figure out how to take a photo and post it here.
  • The Christmas cards are not done.At this point I may not get to that. They are bought. Some are even addressed. But I haven’t written our Christmas letter. I can’t send the cards without that!
  • The presents are all bought (except one). They are wrapped in red paper waiting for green/red/gold bows to be attached. I’ve never wrapped all my pressies in one color before. It looks festive.
  • So what’s on your agenda for today?

Sounds so pretty. I may stop by after Jonathan Christmas breakfast to see your glitzy tree.

I started a new tradition also, wrapping the gifts in red or green paper with white yarn. My Aunt did this when I was a kid & I have always remember those packages.

Today I’m off to J breakfast part from 9:10-10ish, after that shop for a roast (after picking up my check) & a few other things for Christmas Day. Then Pioneer Club tonight.

    Have a sparkly day Susan!

Susan, Stopping by wouldseem like a must this year to view your masterpiece !! I have gotten into the habit of tricking my children; a FEW of my kids without pointing fingers would try to snoop, shake, rattle and roll their gifts to find out what they got. So many times I just assigned the kids a # ( I have 3 kids ) and numbered the packages. Also is the box in the box in the box into infinity wrapping !! But in the last couple years the kids ( goodness they are all adults now ) get 1 color wrapping paper per person. No tags, they just all come form Mom & Dad. Santa fills their stockings. This has been fun and interesting to watch them guess their color and THEN try to guess their gifts. Enjoy and have a blessed, productive day !!!
