Gratitude List Has 17 Items

thank you17 Thinks I am thankful for . . . .

  1. Frozen yogurt is a good salve for many an ill (red raspberry and double chocolate).
  2. Playing horseshoes (only one round) with the respite club: one ringer and one touchie. I could get into this sport.
  3. Leaves from my spearmint plant to brew with black tea.
  4. Staff meeting – We pray for the congregation and discuss how it’s going in our areas of ministry. I left feeling supported and blessed.
  5. Fudge that SC brought back from Alaskan cruise to share with the staff. The maple walnut fudge was an especially delish treat.
  6. Ice pack to put on my sore lower back. It is a Kaz SmartTemp hot & cold therapy system. Since it measures 16″x9.5″ I can treat a whole zone of my back at one time. It can be used as a hot or cold pack. I typically use if for cold and use one of those rice packs for heat. I bought mine at WalMart. I used to have two, but left one in Jordan for our host family’s use.
  7. Using email to connect 5 of us from my days as a single person and newly married in the early 80’s.
  8. Naps.
  9. Friends who send e-cards.
  10. One of my nieces ALWAYS gives me a kiss when she sees me. ALWAYS. She likes me. 🙂
  11. Friends who willing say “yes” to being my guinea pigs for school assignments.
  12. A timely word from the WORD.
  13. Able to walk 1 1/2 miles in 30ish minutes. (I don’t know if that is good.) I could have walked faster but my ankles, shins and calves were too tight. I’ve always had this problem.
  14. Puppy kisses.
  15. Going through the Bible with a friend.
  16. No asthmas trouble for a week or so.
  17. God’s faithfulness to His promises of healing, provision and love.
