November 17 – Photo of the Day = Gratitude
At times books have been more necessary than food, sleep, people, or recreation. They have provided wisdom, comfort, escape, excitement, new ideas, and even discomfort. They have helped define who I am.
In our small apartment there is not enough room for 2 of my bookcases. The books needed to go somewhere. My daughter (who also loves books) suggested the top shelves of the HIGH kitchen cabinets.
I think these 2 pictures show the importance and place books have in our lives.
Your turn. Have books ever been more necessary than something? What do they mean to you?
