5 Sentences of Gratitude
Here’s what I’m a grateful for this week.
- Meals made ahead and put in the freezer for a quick, nutritious dinner (beef stew and minestrone soup).
- Long cuddles with Chip my 19-year-old miniature, toy poodle.
- Welcoming home friends at the airport with their newly adopted son.
- Friends who give you courage by their presence and prayers.
- Hope and direction found in the Bible (yes, even in 2 Kings).

Now that we’re getting back on a routine with school starting next week, I need to prepare some extra meals for the freezer. Soups and stews sound yummy with fall weather approaching!

Your precious dog is 19?! That is amazing and a blessing.
Those kind of friends are the greatest treasures! And hope from the Word? Priceless. It always amazes me how God can speak to a heart from those chapters one least expects.
